Visit Alaska Vicariously: As you know, Dorothy Kirkpatrick and her husband, Peter, spent a month this summer on an extensive trip around Alaska. They took countless pictures, being excellent photographers with topnotch cameras, and have selected a few to place on CCMTA’s website, www.ccmta.org, in the Teachers in Action section. Don’t miss this chance to see some of the spectacular scenery they experienced. Furthermore. . . Becky May received an email from former member Crystal Beltran, who moved out of town. She asked her to share the email with us. She wrote: “My husband got a job opportunity with a better salary, and his dad lives in Odessa. So, those are the two main reasons we moved. I plan on singing! I have sought out a few restaurants and other venues to work in. I am not sure if I will teach again. I think I really need a break from it, and God has other plans for me right now. I really like Midland so far. The people are really friendly and the weather is nice. I have a nice new (smaller though) house and have been spending most of my time just trying to get settled in! I miss you guys too, but look forward to the changes God has in store for me!” You can contact her at Email: CBMusicStudio@cox.net Home phone: (432) 689-2751. Cell: (432) 288-2296. |
