We are most fortunate to have an exceptional pianist in our midst, who stepped forward to take his place: John Hendrickson. Our T-shirt design winner is fourth grader, Sara Nesbit, student from the studio of Evelyn Furr. Her design was selected by Dorothy Kirkpatrick and Barbara Cowen with final input from Nancy Johnston. The design will soon be emailed/mailed to all teachers with an order form, which can be copied as needed. Teachers are asked to make information available to their students. Email is easiest. Those without email may display a picture of the shirt in your studio and have order forms available for interested students. Shirts may also be ordered during Spring Festival. Cost is $15 for sizes XS-XL. XXL is $16.50 and XXXL is $17.00. The first order will be placed February 20. Teachers may collect order forms and money from their students and turn them in to Evelyn by February 19, or each student can mail their money and order form to her. Rob Erickson and his son Anthony (long-time SA member & former student of Doris Lum) just got back from a two-week surfing vacation in Hawaii Rob plays piano at Perry’s in the Woodlands along with a saxophone player every Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 10:00 On Saturdays it’s 7:00 to 11:00 PM—piano, bass & drums….What are the rest of you up to?
