CCMTA Senior AwardsPurpose: To award $100 to each graduating senior who has continued his/her music study through the past six academic years up to and including the senior year. (see below) The amount may be increased as CCMTA’s budget allows. Awards:Awards will be handed out at the May Awards Ceremony, but winners will not perform on the program. Format: Students must fulfill all requirements listed Age: Required to be a graduating high school senior Deadline: April meeting (see calendar) Application: Printed in yearbook To be eligible, the following requirements must be met: 1. Student must be currently enrolled with a CCMTA teacher. 2. Student must have studied continuously with an MTNA teacher(s)for at least the past six academic years, up to and including the senior year (grades 7 through 12). 3. Student must have participated in at least one CCMTA activity per school year (or verifiable equivalent from another city or state). 4. Verification of activities (such as copies of theory tests, certificates, evaluation forms, etc.) must accompany application. Print-outs from the TMTA office for participation in Theory and World of Music tests will be accepted in lieu of the actual copies of the tests. |
